Suter is an anchor/reporter who is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in journalism. Suter got her first job in television while in college working at WSYX in Columbus, OH. She also worked as an associate field producer for the White House press pool in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan during the 1992 and 1996 presidential elections.
Suter went on to work as a reporter in Akron, OH, and Grand Rapids, MI. While in Grand Rapids Suter also worked at WGRD as a co-host on the No. 1-rated morning drive-time radio show. In 1998, she moved to Los Angeles, joining KCAL as a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. Suter worked in the station’s Inland Empire bureau for two years, winning an Emmy for her work.
