Kalee Dionne is an American Meteorologist who is well known for having worked at WFAA in Dallas, TX. She joined the station in December 2019 and left on December 15, 2021.

Dionne recently served at WFAA as a meteorologist, where she specialized in television and digital weather forecasting and reporting. In November 2021, she announced that she was to leave her meteorologist role at the WFAA 8 Dallas weather department and TV news in general at the end of the year 2021. She said that the reason to resign from working with WFAA was to spend more time with her family.
Dionne was previously a Meteorologist at NBC 5 Chicago and 41 Action News in Kansas City, MO. In the fall of 2014, Dionne was voted Kansas City’s Best Meteorologist by KC Magazine. She joined the NBC 5 Chicago team back in April of 2013 after working for three years as a weather and traffic reporter every morning Monday through Friday on Wake Up Alabama in Birmingham, AL.
In 2011, she was brought to a new level of excellence in her weather broadcasting career when on April 27th, a strong line of tornadoes decimated the state of Alabama. It was a part of a super-tornado outbreak that is one of the largest in US history.
The WIAT-TV weather team went wall to wall with their coverage where Dionne kicked off the coverage from early morning until late at night. The broadcast featured live images of tornadoes destroying parts of Alabama where 243 people were killed in the outbreak.
It’s a day that she will never forget, but her professionalism and team approach to the coverage received recognition in the competition. WIAT won many broadcast honors through the Edward R. Murrow, Associated Press, and Alabama Broadcasters Association- including Station of the Year.
