Flores serves at CBS4 as a news anchor/reporter. She joined CBS4 as a general assignment reporter. Flores considers herself a “Jill of all Trades.” She reports anchors news and traffic and is now involved with CBS4’s 24-hour news streaming service, CBSN Denver.
She previously worked in Omaha, Nebraska at KMTV, and in Lincoln, Nebraska at KOLN, as a reporter, anchor, and producer. While in Lincoln, she received the Marsha Bangert Williamson Memorial Award from The National Federation of the Blind for her work on a story that revealed how city construction affected the blind and the visually impaired.
Flores’ first on-air job was in Amarillo, Texas at KVII. She was a midday anchor, general assignment reporter, and producer. Her first job in news was behind the scenes at KCBS in Los Angeles as a production assistant. Flores was also an undercover content producer for the Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter David Goldstein. Andrea rounded out her time at KCBS as a talent booker and content producer for in-studio segments.
