Gregory serves at FOX 5 New York as a Chief Meteorologist. He covers Fox 5 News at 5, 6, & 10 PM. Gregory joined the weather forecast team for Fox 5 NYC He has been working for Fox 5 news WNYW for three decades now. Prior to moving to FOX 5 News, he was working as the morning meteorologist for CNN in Atlanta, Georgia. Before joining CNN, Nick was working as a meteorologist for WTLV-Channel 12 (ABC) in Jacksonville, Florida. He has been honored with many awards throughout his career course.
Gregory has been on the American Meteorologist Society’s “Board of Broadcast Meteorology” and became Chairman of the Board in 1992. Nick has earned the AMS Seal of Approval for Excellence in Television Weathercasting and each of the “New York Post” and the “Daily News” have named him the maximum accurate meteorologist in New York City. Nick participates in several charities and additionally is very involved in the community visiting schools all across the tri-state area.
In remembrance of this, he has been awarded the New York City Comptroller’s Award for outstanding community service. Gregory has been a well-known pilot for 22 years, as well as a flight instructor, and is the FOX 5 News aviation expert on any aviation story.
