Stoll graduated from Central Kitsap High School. She then moved to Chicago where she graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. Stoll earned a second major in art history.

Stoll serves at KOMO-TV as a co-anchor of KOMO 4’s Weekend Morning News and reports for KOMO 4 News during the week. Stoll began her career as a production coordinator for FOX Sports Chicago, handling pre-and post-game shows for the White Sox, Blackhawks, and Bulls. But Stoll always cheered on the Mariners and Seahawks! She began her on-air career as a reporter/anchor/producer for NBC in Kalispell, Montana where she was runner-up for Montana Broadcaster of the Year and won several SPJ awards.
She then moved to Spokane where she took a job as a reporter and fill-in anchor on KREM TV (CBS). Stoll came home to Seattle to work as the North Sound reporter at KIRO TV covering large local events such as the Skagit River Bridge collapse and the Oso landslide. Moving to KOMO is a homecoming because Lee was a college intern at the station in 1998. When she is not working, Lee loves spending time sailing, skiing, playing cribbage, or playing the cello.
