Dart co-anchored the 5 p.m. award-winning and top-rated newscast at WSB-TV in Atlanta before his time in Seattle.
He reported from the scene of big stories on MSNBC as a morning show host and news anchor prior to diving back into local news. His responsibilities have passed to the NBC Network, where he was the NBC Weekend Today Show newsreader and contributed to NBC Weekend Nightly News.
