Stephen Andrew Baldwin is an American actor, author and producer. He has acted in various films like Threesome, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, The Usual Suspects, Posse and Bio-Dome. Baldwin has also starred in various TV series such as The Young Riders. In 2010, he featured, in reality show Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Apprentice and directed Livin’ It, Christian-themed skateboarding in 2004. He participated on the varsity wrestling team in high school, together with his brother William. He went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Baldwin’s career started with him acting on TV and making his film debut in The Beast. In 1994 he starred in The Young Riders and in Threesome. He had his breakthrough with his role in The Usual Suspects in 1995 and in 2002 played Barney Rubble in The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas. He featured in Celebrity Mole Hawaii, the first celebrity edition of The Mole in 2002 which ABC broadcasted in early 2003. He later returned for Celebrity Mole Yucatán the same year, which ABC aired in early 2004.

In 2006, he starred in the movie Jesse Stone: Night Passage as a villainous thug in the television film. He later returned to TV in August 2007, when he was cast by CMT in Ty Murray’s Celebrity Bull Riding Challenge, one of nine celebrities cast. In the first episode of the show, he injured himself in a bad fall from a wooden pontoon. He broke his shoulder blade and cracked a rib. Due to the injuries he had, he left the show in the second episode. From January to March 2008, he appeared on Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice on NBC.

He finished fifth out of the 14 celebrity contestants. He and Trace Adkins became friends while competing on the show and appeared in Adkins’s music video, “Muddy Water” in 2008. Baldwin returned to compete in All-Star Celebrity Apprentice in March 2013 and was a contestant on the 2009 NBC reality show, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here! but quit the show mid-season. On the second episode, he baptized The Hills actor Spencer Pratt.

Baldwin released his book The Unusual Suspect, in September 2006 which details highlights from his career, personal life, days of drug abuse, and how he turned to become a born-again Christian after the September 11 attacks in 2001. Still, in 2001 Baldwin, Bobby Brewer and Mario D’Ortenzio founded Breakthrough Ministry. The ministry was designed to use extreme sports as a ministry via arena tours, called AsSalt Tours. He was joined by Daniel Southern in 2007, as president of his ministry.

Baldwin later formed a for-profit organization called Antioch Ministry in late 2008. The ministry which exists “to facilitate the gifts and calling of Stephen Baldwin”. He and Daniel southern launched a third ministry In 2009, called Now More Than Ever which was designed to reach enlisted men and women in the military all around the world. Baldwin teamed up with conservative talk-radio host Kevin McCullough in 2008 to put together a Saturday radio show called Baldwin/McCullough Radio. As of 2009 April 18, the show aired on 213 stations and in more than 400 cities across the US, and worldwide on Sirius 161 and XM 227. He appears weekly on the show from the broadcast studios in New York City, and from various locations around the country. He has travelled to other countries to speak about his faith too.

Baldwin is also into politics, he supported John McCain-Sarah Palin presidential ticket in 2008 presidential election. In 2011 June he gave hints about the possibility of him entering New York City’s mayoral election as his brothers opponent. He endorsed Donald Trump for the 2016 presidential election.

Stephen went on twitter to let his brother Alec Baldwin know that he does not agree with his signing of a petition protesting a new abortion bill that could soon become law in the state of Georgia. The bill which is known as “heartbeat bill” which is already passed by the state Senate, plans to limit abortions to six weeks after conception unless the pregnancy is conceived through incest and rape. The actor and father to famous model and actress Hailey Bieber went on Twitter to share his views on the matter, posting, “Avoided tweets like this, long as I could now, to [sic] overwhelming,” Baldwin, 52, wrote. “Love will ultimately win, Jesus [heart emoji symbol], but for so long I’ve sat back & trusted God as my own, family members have perpetrated the spirit of hate … through abortion, Mockery & blindness #sad #Alec #hates #pray.” Baldwin’s tweet came after Alec and 49 other Hollywood performers signed an open petition.
