Chance the Rapper real name:Chancellor Johnathan Bennet born in West Chatham neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois on April 16, 1993 and is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and philanthropist.His father Ken Williams-Bennett, worked for the city’s mayor and later for Barack Obama when he was a senator. Young Chance began rapping under the name Chano and formed the group Instrumentality with a friend, J-Emcee.
Bennett is now a Christian and refers to Jesus Christ in many of his songs. Bennett who was raised as a Christian by his grandmother but later fell out of the faith rediscovered his faith when his daughter was born with atrial flutter. Speaking about the situation, Bennett said “I just pray a whole lot, you know, and need a lot of angels and just see shit in a very, like, direct way. And…you know, God bless everything, it worked out well.” Bennett wrote on Twitter following the situation on January 31, 2016, “Today’s the last day my old life, last day smoking cigs. Headed to church for help. All things are possible thru Christ who strengthens me.”
Bennett has labelled himself as a Christian rapper following the release of his mixtape Coloring Book. Bennett believes that God is to thank for his blessings and his career being successful.

Chance the Rapper attended Jones College Prep High School and it is here that he began nurturing his talent by forming the hip-hop duo Instrumentality with a friend.
Chance the Rapper Music Career
While at Jones College Prep High School, some of his teachers ridiculed his aspirations to become a musician. Following a 10-day suspension in early 2011 during his senior year for possessing marijuana on campus, Bennett recorded his first full-length project, a mix tape titled 10 day.
In December 2011, he released a song titled Windows and publicly announced his 10 project.Chance then released the mix tape on April 3, 2012 and it has since received massive downloads, that is over 300,000 times.
The album got a good reception locally and this helped Bennett make connections with producers such as Chuck English and Blended Babies.After a successful appearance on Childish Gambino’s album on the track-They don’t like me-, Chance released his second mix tape ‘Acid rap on April 30, 2013.The album got a very good reception that it was nominated for Best Mix tape at the 2013’s BET Hip Hop Awards.
The album led to Chance being featured in many commercials and also awards.
It was on May 28, 2015 that the album Surf was released for free on the American iTunes store and it received high acclaim from music critics, receiving an aggregate score of 86 on review site Metacritic, which indicates “universal acclaim,” based on 17 reviews.
On July 19, 2015, Chance and Lil B announced that both of them had recorded a collaborative mix tape and they released it on August 5, titled Free Based Freestyles Mix tapes.On October 27, 2015, Chance premiered a new song, titled “Angels” featuring Saba.
The third free mix tape from Chance, dropped in May 2016. Again, an eclectic range of guests accompanied him, among them Kanye West, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, T-Pain and Justin Bieber. The single “No Problem” was an instant hit and the album became the first ever to chart on the Billboard 200 just from streaming after receiving 57.3 million in its first week alone.

Ken Williams-Bennett(father) was working for Barack Obama, when he was a senator. His mother, Lisa Bennett. She works in the government office and owns Tobacco fields in North Carolina. Chance the Rapper has younger brother Taylor, who came out as bisexual in the beginning of 2017. He is not married, but he has a daughter born in 2015, her name is Kensli.

In terms of relationship Chance was said to date Kirsten since 2013 however during the couple of years that Chance and Kirsten were together, their relationship was constantly on and off and by May 2016, they had stopped living together.
