Stephanie Stahl is an American medical reporter for KYW-TV. Since 1992 she has been working for CBS 3 (KYW). She also joined InformationWeek in 1992 as an associate editor.
She was honored by the Pennsylvania Public Health Association with its 2000 Media Award. Is also a journalist in the business technology market. In addition to a variety of Emmy awards, she’s a member of the Broadcast Pioneers Hall of Fame.
She is the Editor-in-Chief of InformationWeek magazine. Also, she is the co-founding editor of various new InformationWeek launches, that include Government Enterprise and Healthcare Enterprise.

She and colleague Carol Erickson each won a local Emmy Award for “Carol’s Story,” their moving series about Carol’s battle with breast cancer in 2004. In 2005, Stahl received the prestigious Diamond Award from Temple University Hospital’s Auxiliary for her “dedication to excellence, her professional and personal integrity, and her deep sense of compassion for others.”
The Pennsylvania Public Health Association honored her with its 2000 Media Award; the local chapter of the American Liver Foundation named her it’s Media Professional of the Year in 2001.
The Cardiovascular Institute presented her with its Leadership Award for “positively impacting the health of the Delaware Valley in 2010.” She was recognized by Women in Communications for her contributions with its highest honor, the Sarah Award.
