Tester came in Miami back in 1992, just a month ahead of Hurricane Andrew. He happens to be a true newsroom. Tester, together with other investors established the Sunbelt Broadcasting Company in 1971.
The corporation was based in Nevada and now, it is known as International West Communications Company. The company operates TV and radio stations in several states including KRNV situated in Reno and KSNV located in Las Vegas. Both are NBC affiliates.
He has been awarded throughout his career as a journalist. He is proud of the Team Player Award that he received from NBC6 management back in 1994. He was offered the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences with the Silver Circle Award back in April 2005.
The Silver Circle is the highest honor awarded to South Florida broadcast journalists in recognition of a quarter century of work. He works as a commentator and reporter for KGMX-FM and WFFG in Marathon, Florida.

Miami-Dade SWAT Team Responds To Barricaded Man With Gun Inside Doral Condo

An armed standoff unfolding in Doral with officers saying they heard gunshots upon arrival to the scene.
There was a noticeably heavy police presence in the area of 84th Avenue and 33rd Street.
A person with a gun was barricaded on or around the sixth floor.
Doral Police initially responded to a call of a burglary in process.
After arriving and hearing gunshots, they were joined by the Miami-Dade Police SWAT Team.
Early on there were reports of a robbery and officers went through the sixth floor, evacuating residents.
Approximately 15 to 20 people were escorted out by police.
This all went down just before 9 p.m. Monday.
Police confirmed that someone was taken into custody at approximately 11 p.m. and residents were seen being allowed back into the building.
