Julia Cox Biography

Julia Cox is an American NBC 15 news reporter and anchor who began by focusing on the Weeknd Sports in 2017. She was also a weekend sports anchor and reporter for KIFI/KIDK in Pocatello, Idaho. While she was there she was able to cover Idaho State University as well as local high school sports. Cox attended her college classes at The University of Scranton for two years and played on the softball team.

From there she transferred to the University of Tennessee while at Tennessee. She has also worked for the school’s Athletics Broadcast Department. The Department was better known as VFL films. After she graduated, she was offered an opportunity to complete a post-grad internship with the athletic department. This is where she met Knoxville for the launch of the SEC Network where she also got to be a sideline.
