Audrina Bigos Biography
Audrina Bigos is a prominent American journalist, reporter, and host. She is best known for her extraordinary level of professionalism as a host in CBS News.
Prior to joining CBS 2, Bigos served as a weekend evening anchor and general assignment reporter for WCCB-TV in Charlotte, NC. During her four-year tenure at WCCB, she also worked as an instructor at the Carolina School of Broadcasting. Beyond her broadcasting achievements, Bigos is a long-time volunteer with the Boys & Girls Club of America. Prior to working with the clubs on the West Side of Chicago, she helped launched a self-esteem project entitled – SMART Girls – which has become a permanent program at the Charlotte Boys & Girls Club.

After graduating from USF, Audrina got her first professional break-in Aug 2010 with WUSF-TV Channel 16, Florida Focus in Tampa / St. Petersburg, Florida Area, Florida. She was responsible for anchoring and reporting on ‘ Florida Focus ‘-a daily news show.
There she also produced a 30 minute award-winning documentary on the Florida Department of Children & Families as its senior producer.
By the end of December 2010, she left for WUSF to join WCCB TV in Charlotte, primarily as a reporter and photographer. She was later promoted to the position of news host/anchor for the station’s weekend shows at 6 p.m. & 10 p.m. in May 2014. She also filled in newscasts on weekdays at times for 10 PM.
In the midst of this, she also joined the Carolina School of Broadcasting, Florida, as an instructor in 2013. She left WCCB in August 2015 to join her current employers, CBS News, in the Greater Chicago Area. She works primarily as a general assignment reporter.
