The Charleston police arrested a woman allegedly responsible for stealing 34,000 worth. It was of jewelry from a home on Charleston’s West Side. Police say the incident happened Monday on Elm Street. .They obtained a warrant for Tiara Christian’s arrest and arrested her on Thursday.
Police responded to an alarm at the home. They got there, discovered the back door of the home was busted off of the frame. The victim told police several items of jewelry were missing, totaling about 34,000. They had discovered the stolen items from Christian sold nine items at a pawn shop on Dunbar Avenue. Then just 11 minutes after the home alarm went off on Elm Street.
