Michael “Al” Morganti is a nationally recognized American ice hockey analyst who has covered the National Hockey League (NHL) and international competitions. Morganti is currently a pre- and post-game analyst for the Philadelphia Flyers of the NHL for games broadcast on Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia and occasionally, The Comcast Network.
Morganti is also a sports radio personality for 94 WIP in Philadelphia together with co-hosts Angelo Cataldi, Rhea Hughes and fellow Flyers broadcast crew member Keith Jones. Airing weekday mornings from 5:30 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time, The Morning Show is the highest-rated sports radio show in the Philadelphia area.

Al’s Career
Originally Morganti is from Boston and a product of Boston University College of Communication. He began his journalism career there, writing for The Boston Globe. He then became The Atlanta Constitution hockey beat writer, covering the Atlanta Flames. Before joining the Flyers’ broadcast crew, Morganti was previously a regular hockey analyst for ESPN from 1993 to 2005 and a hockey writer for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
