Brian Holmes Biography
Brian Holmes is an American news anchor and reporter for KTVB News. He returned to the station returned to KTVB after more than a decade working in television and radio in the Treasure Valley.
His first tour of duty at KTVB included time spent as a photographer, sports reporter/photographer and news and feature reporter covering everything from the Boise State Broncos to presidential visits to butt-kicking machines in Nampa. During his time in television, he received numerous nominations for Emmy awards and he earned one Emmy award, two Edward R. Murrow awards and two national Edward R. Murrow awards.
Brian grew up on California’s Central Coast enjoying all the amenities that beach life has to offer. After deciding what he wanted to do for a living, Brian graduated from California State University, Northridge with a degree in television production.
Brian has television to thank for many of his most memorable life experiences, especially meeting his perfectly beautiful soul mate, Andrea, whom he married, instantly improving his life forever. Together they have four children, two cats, three dogs, and very little spare time.
