Sue Hall Biography

Sue Hall is an American professional journalist, reporter and news anchor. She is a traffic reporter at KGO-TV | ABC7 Morning News and a radio personality on 96.5 KOIT & 102.7 The Wolf.

Sue Hall Personal Life

Sue is married with 4 sons and one chocolate lab pup (Miss Missy Maple). She loves pizza and Mexican food. Sue loves to read and also loves to take Missy on hikes on Mt Tam or to Stinson Beach to romp in the waves. She’s also very involved in several local charities including the Taylor Family Foundation, Salvation Army and Guide Dogs for the Blind. Sue hosts a weekly pod/broadcast “Today’s World” that highlights Bay Area non-profits.

Sue Hall Early Life, Education and Career

Sue was born and raised in Bay Area native raised in Marin. She left for college then returned and she is still living there. Sue graduated from San Francisco State University as a broadcasting major. Sue’s first radio job was at KSKI in Hailey, Idaho while Sue was perfecting her status as a certified ski bum! She decided radio was a cool profession. She headed back to San Francisco to return to college and was hired at KFRC as their very first Mobile Studio Coordinator.

She eventually got on the air there as the host of the midday show. Sue also worked at KMEL, K101, then returning to KFRC for the next 18 years. Besides being a radio personality, Sue had a reoccurring role as a television reporter on the Nash Bridges series while it was filmed in San Francisco.

Sue Hall currently is a part-time reporter for ABC 7, Sue is a San Francisco broadcasting veteran boasting 33 years in San Francisco radio, television and now in Sonoma County on The Wolf. When she’s not working (when is that?) she loves to cycle the Dry Creek Loop and wake board on Lake Sonoma.
