Segundo is a proud graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He attended the university in the year 2014 and graduated 2 years later with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Journalism. Segundo is also a 2014 alumnus of Honolulu Community College where he obtained an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences and Liberal Studies.

He is responsible for securing and conducting both LIVE in-studio and remote interviews, as well as for booking guests. Before joining CBS Sacramento, he served at KITV4 More Local News in Honolulu, Hawaii for 3 years. There he first started working as a News Reporter and Weather Anchor, before making his way up to Weekend Morning News Anchor.
Segundo worked for KHON-TV in Honolulu, Hawaii for nearly 12 years as a guest correspondent (Living808), television correspondent (FOX VIP), and Live on-air Commentator (Idol Chatter). Over the course of his career, he has covered every wild weather such as winter storms, blizzards, high wind, and fog. He has also covered lava, big surf, and hurricanes. Away from journalism, he has also worked for Destination Groove Dance Hawaii as a host and scrip writer for 3 months.
