Basirico has worked for WLNS-TV in Lansing, Michigan as a sports intern for 5 months. She has also worked as a news intern at NBC Sports Chicago in Illinois for 3 months, and as a Reporter at HOMTV in Meridian Township, Michigan for 5 months.
During her leisure, she likes rooting for Spartan, Go Green! (she is an avid fan of Detroit sports). Also, she enjoys trying new recipes – anticipates in coming with her own cookbook, or hanging out with her loved ones (friends and family), as well as her Black Lab named Leo, who she adopted in Wyoming. She reside in Colorado Springs and she also likes exploring Southern Colorado when she is not at work.
