Kepcher is a businessman who while studying at Mercy College took a job as a manager at a Manhattan restaurant. In 1992 she secured a position as sales and marketing director of a golf club outside New York City. Her primary role was to prepare the property for bank auction.

On 28th November 2006, she was also hired as a judge by Microsoft for the reality show, Ultimate Challenge. The show was to find the next best small-business venture. The prize for the winner was $100,000 in seed money, a storefront or other business space in Manhattan rent-free for a year, and software to help get their business started. However, the pilot show was never completed.

Carolyn Kepcher also provided management skills to the nonprofit world through an affiliation with Graham-Pelton Consulting, Inc. in January 2007. In the same year, she has also been a career advice columnist with the New York Daily News.

Carolyn Kepcher worked as a sales and marketing director of a golf club that was later sold to Donald Trump, Trump was impressed by her ideas on how best to use the property. In 1994 she was hired by Trump as director of sales and marketing.

In 1998 she was also named the general manager. She was later named the Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization and Chief Operating Officer for the Trump National Golf Clubs where she was on the development team and led the operations for the Trump National Golf Clubs in Westchester, N.Y., and Bedminster, N.J.

Kepcher also appeared as Donald Trump’s right-hand woman on the NBC Emmy Award Nominated show, “The Apprentice,”. On 31st August 2006, her tenure with Trump Organization ended. According to New York Post, Trump felt that Kepcher’s newfound celebrity status had kept her too busy with speaking engagements and endorsements to focus on her responsibilities for the Trump Organization. During season 6 of The Apprentice, she was replaced by Ivanka Trump.

Aspetuck Valley Country Club

Kepcher was appointed as the Vice President and General Manager at Aspetuck Valley Country Club in Weston. Her duties included membership acquisition, creating a high-level membership experience as well as leading several major projects, including Clubhouse renovations, a new terrace bar, a care facility, and a tennis bubble.

In April 2018 after seven years at Aspetuck Valley Country Club, she was also appointed as the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the Redding Country Club.
