Maisel is a new communications director for the city of Harrisburg. Prior to this role, he was previously a reporter/anchor working for FOX43 from July 2017 to March 2022. Prior to joining the Morning News team in July 2017, was FOX43’s Harrisburg bureau reporter since April 2015, where he covered the capital city beat and also state government stories at the State Capitol. He schooled at Susquehanna Township High School, where classmates got him doing the morning news and sportscasts for the in-house TV station WHIP-TV.

He had spent more than seven years at WJAC-TV in Johnstown, PA as a sports reporter and sports director before joining FOX 43.
