His most memorable assignments are the human interest stories of those he meets while he experienced covering hurricanes, elections, and the Baltimore unrest.
Gessler graduated from Marshall University’s W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communication and makes effort to attend a few Thundering Herd games every year. Whenever he is not working, he finds pleasure in spending his free time with his family and friends.
