Hurd is a reporter/anchor who can be found on the NBC Bay Area during the 11 p.m. newscast.” Reporting is a lot of fun, but it is definitely challenging,” she said. “I started out in the late 70s, believe it or not. Back then we had two-person crews and film! Now your cameraperson shoots, edits, runs the live truck, and sometimes reports the news. I write for television, and the web, and am very active on social media. I don’t work the camera, but that may be coming soon.”
